Scuddles Extra Large Picnic Basket Review

What a good find! A very well-constructed, quality plush picnic basket tote bag for everyday use! But this isn't any ordinary one, it's huge - which is impressive! From the outside, you might not be able to tell that it is a picnic basket bag, but being mainly grey, it blends well with any work or school outfit! Perfect for the outdoors but not limited to just that! It comes in handy when you're grocery shopping & don't want to waste any more plastic bags.  Using Scuddles helps the environment and reduces plastic so I can certainly get behind that :-) It is a fun, useful product to bring along on any outing/adventure/trip (whether it be the beach, pool, hiking, park, lake, camping, festival, cruise, car rides, concert, games, tailgating, BBQs, boat, hotel, lake, vacation, etc.)

One of my favorite things about Scuddles Picnic Basket is that it's waterproof & well insulated (keeps all the food & drinks cold/warm & fresh up to 12 hrs).  It's a unisex timeless kind of product that your whole family can benefit from.  Men & women can share! It's sturdy yet light and holds up pretty well!  It comes w/ a set of dinnerware (made stainless steel to be specific) for four and there's plenty of room for ice packs, picnic treats, or healthy options for on the go (home cooked meals, sandwiches, soups, fruit, cans, crackers, salads, bread rolls, water bottles & whatever else).  Everything is as advertised and organized neatly.  Nothing missing.  No need to buy or bring your own kitchen supplies as this comes with all of that already (plates, spoons, cups, forks, cloth napkins, salt & pepper shakers, cutting board) What sets it apart from the other coolers is the inside.  It is deep and can fit in containers of foods or bottles of drinks. 

Another thing I like about Scuddles Extra Large Picnic Basket is that it's easy to carry if I am bringing other picnic gear/items with me! (No struggling) The straps are indeed comfortable.  Overall, makes a good gift & saves the other person/receiver money! Clearly was well-made! Very versatile that you can take it pretty much anywhere.  I def. plan to use it as often as I could.

P.S. In a time & age like now, with all of the natural disasters, and talks of war, I honestly feel this is a must-have!

SwifTrans Camping Lantern Review

One useful tool to have (especially nowadays) that can make life better is a camping lantern! You never know just when you'll need it (like when the power/electricity goes out).  It's a life-saver & a must-have/essential in my emergency/disaster/survival kit for sure.  I know it will get a lot of use in the near future.  It's an alternative to a flashlight, lamp or candles as it shines bright in any room.  You can put it right by your bed incase of anything.  Perfect for the outdoors & indoors! (camping/tents, dark attics, shed, garage, reading, night walks, car rides, grilling at night, boating, dorms, sleepovers, repairing, backpacking, hiking & more)

This SwifTrans camping lantern that I received is ideal for regular usage.  Since it is portable, I can take it room to room - pretty much anywhere.  The handles can hook onto tree branches, so that's a plus for outdoor enertaining!  I can save energy, time & space w/ this one product.  A win-win! & it's easy to store away in my backpack, closet or storage box.  I honestly feel like a lantern is an item that every home should have at all times.

All in all, very convenient & handy! It runs on batteries (6 AA batteries to be exact; no big batteries) and lasts quite a while (12 hrs).  Unlike some lanterns out there, this one has a magnetic base & no buttons/switches.  You get to control the amount of light by simply adjusting the height.  Very easy to use & lightweight - 1 of my favorite things about it :)  & the fact that it's water-resistant/water-proof, making it safe to use in the rain.  If you're like me, & scared of fires, and don't want to deal w/ oily mess, get yourself SwifTrans.  Plus, you don't have to worry about it when you're around kids!

Makes a good gift for him/her! Also good to have in your car just incase!

No Knot Necklace Carrier Review

What a clever idea! A jewelry holder/carrier for on-the-go/vacations/travels :) Yay, to no more spending minutes detangling jewelry in hotel rooms and using zip-loc bags.  It can really drive you nuts sometimes especially after a long day of traveling, but this.  This is a game-changer and a travel must-have product for me.  I've been looking for something like this for some time now & grateful to come across it! I picked the one w/ the spring/summery green/white leafy design.  It's very lightweight which I like because it's space saving! One good way to keep all of my jewelry safe, organized & in good shape - whether it's at home or out!

Having OCD, it's quite relieving to find a system for traveling w/ jewelry that actually works! The No Knot Necklace Carrior is small yet long in size and has many padded slots/compartments for all kinds of jewelry.  The individual pockets are perfect for storing rings, small earrings or hair ties, while the large pocket for bracelets or the bigger pieces! It can even be used for camera accessories or charge cables.  In the middle section, is where the necklaces go to keep them from tangling.  It doesn't take a lot of space in my lugguage or duffle bag and it keeps everything all in one place.  Also makes my mornings simpler & better as I am not a morning person.  Usually the night before I like to pick/plan out my outfit & jewelry for the next day, so this gadget definitely comes in use for that.  Getting my stuff all ready & prepared helps decrease my anxiety & gets me going, so I'm about that.

Overall, a convenient & worthy travel accessory! I can throw it in my purse & go.  It makes traveling easier & 1 less problem in my daily life.

YakFaino Wallet Review

There's something special about eco-friendly, vegan 100% handmade things made from the heart.  There's nothing quite like them.  They cannot be duplicated & for that reason I plan to take extra care.  With that said, the YakFaino Wallet that I received is perfect for out & about! I don't have to carry my entire bag with me as it's a good size! It makes a beautiful gift and helps any woman stay neat & organized!

The feel of the YakFaino Wallet's detailed floral fabric/print on the outside is soft & high-quality construction-wise.  I'm impressed with how it's made with only natural, vegan materials.  There is different floral print/pattern on the inside as well that is just as pretty & the colors are as shown in the picture! I can never get tired of looking at it.  It's currently my new signature go-to, daily/everyday wallet at the moment.  It's feminine, sturdy, and well-made! There are three compartments that fits all my important cards, id, driver's license, cash, receipts, coupons, notes, bills, documents,concert tickets & what not- so plenty of room/slots/space without being too heavy/bulky.

YakFaino Wallet is easy to carry around and find in a big purse so that's a plus! (No struggling there) It can double as a clutch.  Look forward to using it for daily errands, grocery shopping, paying bills & international travel! It will certainly be handy and useful.  It opens and closes easily and there is a large zippered interior compartment pocket (in the middle) perfect for storing coins, my emergency money, cell phone and car & home keys!

Out of all of the beautiful designs, it was definitely hard choosing one! But all in all, it's everything I need from a wallet.  It suits my needs & I know that I will be getting lots of use out of it.  It can be paired with both causal and business attire & a good addition to my accessory wardrobe!

Classic readable literature quote text ("They laugh at me because I'm Different; I laugh at them because they're all the same" -Kurt Cobain) in one of my favorite colors (purple) on a short sleeve tee-shirt :-) Pretty creative & fun if you ask me! These professionally printed short sleeve crew-neck tees are 1 of a kind, exclusive/rare, & hard to find! I've been looking for a unique tee that not many people have & is different that would separate me from other people! After discovering The Koolshopp, I realized that they not only offer a wide variety/selection of tee-shirts, but hoodies, footwear & accessories with different colors & sizes for women and men! All have a personalized/customized touch - making them a special, thoughtful gift for him/her for any occasion!

Koolshopp tees are ideal to wear for lounging, traveling/vacations, sleeping in, shopping and playing sports.  Some of the tees are just so relatable to life.  They can truly bring out your personality and sense of humor without even saying one word.  It's actually one way to meet people and start a conversation.  As for the material, it is comfortable, smooth, & quality cotton  - which is my favorite because it doesn't irritate/bother me.  Although, it does kind of feel like there is a little bit of spandex in there, but there is actually none according to product description.  This  may be my new night shirt as it is breathable and not too tight, not too loose, but just in-between.  My kind of fit...cozy.

Suitable for all seasons especially hot summer days! You can get many outfits out of this one piece.  It's easy to match w/ almost anything - pants, jeans, leggings, pajamas, capris, shorts, & skirts.  I also like that it's not see-through or sheer like other shirts! (therefore no tank top is needed underneath) And the neckline & sleeve length fits me well! The tee has a fit slim shape and a bit of stretch to it so I'd size up or two if you're considering it.  I plan to take extra care of mine, so that the lettering does not come off. 

Overall, very fast shipping, came clean & a unique gift idea idea for your loved ones! (whether it be your friend, daughter, sister, cousin, co-worker, etc.) The message written on it caught my eye & is motivational to me.  I could use a much-needed reminder every now & then.

Elyxrs Skin Care Review

Did you know that what we put on our skin gets absorbed into our bodies? I have learned this a while back & ever since then, I have become very aware of what I use/apply on a day-to-day basis.  It was a big wake up call for me! But with a healthy diet & making the switch to natural/organic, vegan/cruelty-free, gluten-free skin care, I can say that it's been effective & my skin has definitely benefited & improved.  Discovering new pure & safe beauty products with real results is always a good thing & hence why I wanted to try out Elyxrs (a wellness business) for the 1st time =)

Let me start by saying that the products in this biz are all handmade - which is quite impressive! Expect no junk, chemicals, or toxic, strange unusual ingredients in this skin care line - because you will not get that.  Only natural oils & healing essential oils make up the ingredients - which is the perfect touch! As a reminder, it's important to check out any skin care product labels/ingredients before use! You always want to make sure you're putting on nothing but healthy & the best in you (as it goes straight into your bloodstream).  So if you have sensitive, dry, problematic skin issues, & don't know where to start, maybe Elyxrs can help you out! Anyone can use Elyxrs, as they're suitable for just about all skin types & you don't necessarily have to be vegan (just FYI). 

It's safe to say that Elyxrs products work well on my skin type as it can sometimes get reactive! They do the job well and don't make my skin so dry like other products (probably because of the oils).  However, the product label does recommend to apply your moisturizer and sun-screen afterwards as you may already normally do for your typical skin care routine (at least I know I do).  The fancy cleanse (w/ Spirulina & Sage), exfoliating & "With Love" soap bars smell clean & are beautifully crafted/designed! I was even thinking about using them for decoration in my bathroom! Fancy spa products like Elyxrs make such beautiful gifts to go into gift bags/basket! They are packaged well! & they don't make my skin feel so dried out after a shower, and cleans/washes up just as good or better than the mainstream-brand soaps out there but with the bonus of natural, pure earthly high-quality ingredients/oils! You can use them pretty much anywhere including vacations.  The oils in them make it perfect for the cold winter months! Currently, Elyxrs soaps are one of the 1st things I grab when I shower after a workout.  I also find that they work well for prepping for shaving!

Another impressive soap bar by Elyxrs was the Tension Release Massage Bar! It has an exfoliating quality to it & is basically an anti-cellulite soap bar.  I'd say it's one of my favorites out of the bunch.  It has massage nodules to help provide for a deep tissue massage, which in turn improves circulation! I should note that it be used carefully so it does not break or get messy.  It is soap after all.  Scrubbing gently & slowly in circular motions is the way to go.  I don't think it's really necessary to exfoliate every single day, so a few times a week of exfoliation is good enough! As for a good shower body scrub? I have been forgetting to include that in my shower routine lately & I don't know if it is partly because I haven't been making the time.  But with my baby pink Elyxrs Foaming Sugar Scrub on hand, I can just hop in the shower and count on it to maintain healthy, smooth skin weekly.  It's definitely a skin care must-have for my face & body as it helps gets rid of the dead skin cells & renews! Just like some of the other facial/body scrubs, it contains the common ingredient, sugar but what makes it different is that it doesn't just stop there.  It's also combined w/ other skin-loving ingredients - such as Vit. E, jojoba oil, hazelnut oil & rose clay.  The texture in Elyxrs Foaming Sugar Scrub is soothing & refreshing which is very much-needed after a hard stressful week if you ask me.  I got a generous amount so I can exfoliate my lips as well! (2x's a week)Your skin is the largest organ, so treating it like one and keeping it healthy should be a priority!

Now onto the "Patchouli Soul" Lotion.  You can really smell the fragrance/aroma with this one (scent is somewhat stronger than the other products).  If it's too much for you, you can try diluting it w/ another lotion.  I like that it's moisturizing, & not too thick! Plus it's travel-size, so it's easy to fit in your purse.  Before heading out, you can just toss it in your purse so that you can refresh throughout the day.  Or add it to your emergency kit essentials.  Perfect for dry, cracked hands in the winter! & if you want an alternative to perfume, this Patchouli is 1 natural option.  It spreads smoothly and absorbs in seconds. 

About the citrusy Deodorant, it is made quite well & works! Non-irritating is usually what I go for, so it's good to know that there was no stinging, rashes or reactions! If your underarms are sensitive, you might want to give it a try.  You don't have to press hard when applying like other deodorants. It's not filled with harmful ingredients either.  But it does smell like oranges, so if you don't like oranges then this may not be for you.  I like to keep in my gym bag to freshen up once in a while.  You might have to do a second application mid-day but it's a deodorant not an antiperspirant. 

All around, good raw products!

-A bit pricey but I feel that it's ok to pay a higher price for the quality!

One Savvy Life Mini Backpack Folding Chair w/ Cooler Review

What a fun gift idea for campers, beach goers & backpackers! It's three in one - a backpack, stool chair & insulated cooler.  Very handy to have around! Your stuff will fit in neatly.  You can use it pretty much anywhere.  It saves a lot of space & perfect for outdoor adventures! It's easy to carry from place to place, & that is coming from a small girl lol!  It is as described in the website.  You can keep it in your trunk for whenever needed or include it in your luggage/suit-case.  I'm liking the turquoise color and also how the coating is waterproof! That is something that I always look for in outdoor equipment - just incase it rains or anything.  It's well built, strong & sturdy.  Good storage for cold drinks & warm food!

Makes planning outdoor parties & events more simple, which I'm all for.  But it can also be used for concerts/festivals, backyard barbeques, pool parties, block parties, beach, the park, watching events (air shows, bird watching, solar eclipse viewing), tailgating, parades or when you're waiting on long lines.  There's just so many uses to it - making this a versatile, convenient product for anyone really of all ages.  In the front, there are storage pockets/pouches that you can use for dry food or small accessories (cell phone, ID, wallet, water bottle, travel tumbler, binoculars etc).  Access to food and snacks is easy while sitting down, since the cooler is literally right under your seat.  How relieving that is? Especially when you're tired/exhausted after a long day of traveling or hiking up a hill.  So much better than sitting on the ground, concrete or a hard pointy rock! & if you want to get creative, you can even use the seat as a table alternative! Everything is secure & organized in one place.  As for the fit & comfort, which matters the most to me,  I had no issues but being petite, I cannot really speak for someone that's bigger than me, so I don't know how comfortable it would be for a bigger person.

If you plan a camping trip adventure, you can sit on stool while cooking.  Oh & if you're a photographer, and you're off to somewhere majestic, this stool will come in handy for when you need an occasional break.  It won't weigh you down.  & if you like to paint outside, this works for that too! Generally speaking, for me, backpacks are the solution to traveling, so it's no shock that when I saw this, I was pleased with it's multi-purpose, versatile features.  It seems like it's going to hold up & last for a long time.

+ it's foldable feature makes it easy to store away.
