Tony's Chocolonely Review

So much respect for Tony's Chocolonely being a slave-free ethical chocolate company and standing up for child slavery & other injustices (such as hazardous working conditions) in the cocoa/chocolate industry! Not many people have the guts to do what you do.  With that said, I am honored to support a company like yours! Thankful that it exists! Some people may turn a blind eye to human rights abuses, and could care less about it (as long as it doesn't affect them on a personal level) but I refuse to be one of those people.  Sad to think that some will continue & continue to buy and support typical chocolate brands (like Nestle, Hershey & Mars chocolates) when they are linked/connected to child slavery.  I just cannot look at chocolate the same anymore :-( I did not think that there was ever such a thing, but modern day slavery is real.  & these kids need our help so I am determined to make an impact by voting with my dollar from this point on (& so should you).  It's the right thing to do!

In my opinion, slave-free chocolate tastes better than mainstream Hershey, Nestle & Mars chocolates.  With Tony's, I can finally eat my chocolates guilt-free and in peace :-) (every now (& then or as a daily treat) The deep, thick, & strong chocolate bars have a creamy texture & a smooth, buttery, velvety coconut finish (kind of like eating silk) that melts into your mouth.  They're slightly bitter/intense yet creamy, sweet & juicy.  I'm impressed by the variety and the different flavors there are to choose from! (Milk Chocolate, Extra Dark Chocolate, Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Dark Almond Sea Salt, Dark Pecan Coconut, Dark Coffee Crunch) They make a good pick-me-up, dessert (currently my go-to chocolates) or pre-gym/workout snack and can also be used in baking projects! I personally like to refrigerate them & then when it's tea time, I eat a few chocolate tablets together with or without unsalted almonds or cashews! One square & I am good! (Tony's chocolates are flavorful & keeps me from overindulging!) You can also have them with almond or peanut butter!

Tony's Chocolonely comes in big or small bars (One for you & your kid if you have one).  The packaging is unique, colorful & the shape of the bar is fun! For some reason they kind of remind me of the Willy Wonka bars lol! I got the Dark Chocolate bars packed with nuts (pecans & almonds) in them for that extra energy & protein.  You can really taste the salt & coconut in them.  Good decent vegan candy bars are hard to find nowadays so I was pleased to find out that Tony's dark chocolates are!

P.S. They ship worldwide :-)

Cons:

-More vegan options would be nice!
-Some people may be allergic to nutrition ingredients (egg, & nuts)

*I received this product in exchange for my honest review.  My opinions are my own.*
