Although, Cappello's Cookie Doughs do not have sugar in them, they are sweetened w/ cane juice & maple syrup. But other than that, the ingredients seem to be pretty clean & vegan which is really important to me! The chips in the dough are a good size & there are a good amount of them, which is a plus because I was a bit concerned about that! They're easy & quick to bake (10-12 minutes) from the comfort of your home. Perfect for busy peeps & a much better option/alternative than regular cookies for children! Out of the ones I got, I really liked the Double Chocolate Chip & Chocolate Chip ones! You can taste the dark chocolate chips in them. When you open the box, the cookies may look small, but 3 were enough for me. They have a salty, sweet, coconut taste to them & are quite addictive.
On occasion, once a week, I like to have these in the mornings with tea as I am on a healthy diet most days! You can also mix them w/ some vegan ice-cream or milk. I have been missing cookies since I cut out sugar, so it's nice to see that there are healthy vegetarian snack options out there like Capello's! It certainly makes it easier for one to go vegetarian/vegan.
By the way, Cappello's Gluten-Free company paired up with Primal Palate to create these.
Cons:
-Didn't like eating the dough raw. Preferred them cooked!
-Least favorite flavor: Ginger snap cookies, but my mom like them!
